The Task Force has reached the critical point of making their recommendations for the roles that First Things First should play in the Arizona Early Childhood System. The Task Force values your opinion and wants as much feedback as possible from those who agree all of Arizona’s kids deserve a solid start so they can be successful in school and in life.
In this regard, the Task Force is soliciting responses to a brief survey. The survey is anonymous and results will be shared only in aggregate with the Task Force and used to determine their recommendations to the First Things First Board and Regional Councils.
The survey will probably take about 30 minutes to complete, including time to review the draft Arizona Early Childhood Model System document prepared by the Task Force, but your time may vary. The document is also available for viewing online once you enter the survey. Access the survey by clicking on the following link: FTF Roles In The Early Childhood System Survey. The survey will remain open through Tuesday, August 3, 2010.
Thank you on behalf of the Arizona Early Childhood Task Force.
The Board of First Things First has convened 35 community leaders from around the state as members of a special Task Force to develop the Arizona Early Childhood Plan - the vision for the state’s early childhood development and health system. The Arizona Early Childhood Plan will guide First Things First’s role in the implementation of this comprehensive system for our state’s youngest citizens. The work of the Task Force will be grounded in scientific and economic evidence and is expected to result in a strategic roadmap that:
- Identifies funding priorities.
- Establishes specific, measurable outcomes and benchmarks.
- Serves as the foundation for a program and public affairs agenda.
